Dear Camp Smile Campers, Counselors and Families,
First and foremost, we hope you and your families are staying healthy and safe. During these times of uncertainty amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot thank you enough for your loyalty, commitment and patience as we confront and adjust to the continuous challenges we face today. The dedication of our campers, families, alumni and staff has been essential to the long success of Camp Smile since 1972.
The health and safety of the campers and staff of Camp Smile is our highest priority. With the presence of COVID-19 within the United States, we are actively reviewing and updating our health-related plans and procedures for the summer of 2022.
At this time, we fully intend to hold in-person camp sessions for the summer of 2022 and we have a communicable disease plan in place that will be revised in cooperation with Federal, State and County public health authorities as additional COVID-19 and its variants guidance’s are provided.
If circumstances change, an announcement will be made at the earliest possible opportunity. In the meantime, we have been working hard to plan Camp Smile 2022 at our favorite place: Kiwanis Lodge, Webster, New York.
Our dedicated staff will be contacting you personally to provide details and explore how your family can be a part of Camp Smile this summer ... our 50th anniversary!
If you have any questions or thoughts at any time, please feel free to call us at 585-230-5000 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
We send best wishes to you and your family in these difficult and trying times.
Jane Lyth and the Camp Smile Staff
